Turmeric and coconut immune booster

Turmeric and coconut are a great companions for pitta dosha. Turmeric is a great source of curumin that is a anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, anti-tumour, antibacterial, and antiviral agent. It also helps flush out dietary carcinogens, boost liver detox and treat depression.

  • 1 cup hemp or coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup fresh pineapple or mango chunks
  • 1 fresh banana
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric (can be increased to 1 tsp)
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon fennel
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds
Place the chia seeds in the coconut milk and let it rest until is soft ( around 5 minutes), place all the ingredients in the blender until forming a creamy drink.
